Having children with special needs is really hard, especially during a pandemic. My sister has 3 boys with ASD, and when they couldn’t go to school or have their therapy appointments at the beginning of the pandemic, they really struggled. I’ve seen firsthand her difficulties of working so hard to take care of her three little guys, and she often questions her parenting abilities, like you are. I will tell you what I tell her. God knew you would be the best person to raise your special children. He knew you would do everything you can for them. You sound like you are a great mother, who is struggling with some very difficult circumstances. But don’t let other people’s opinions make you feel like you aren’t a good parent. You are what your children need. I hope that things get better for you, that everything works out with the disability money. Don’t let that horrible woman, she really does sound horrible, make you second- guess yourself. I hope you can get the help and support you need. It sounds to me like you are doing everything you can for your sweet children.
